Donaldson Institute - is dedicated to promoting, on a national level, the understanding of adoption as an estimable way of family creation and to advancing the quality in adoption policy and practice. The Evan B. Donaldson Institute identifies, analyzes, synthesizes and makes available the best information on adoption. This site includes over 1,000 abstracts pertaining to qualitative and quantitative adoption research conducted and/or published from 1986-1997. Bibliographies on adoption and related topics are also available as are adoption statistics for each U.S. state.

PAE is a resource for adoption information pertaining to search and reunion, subsidy and the adoption process. PAE offers information as to upcoming Pennsylvania adoption related conference and trainings.

Adoption Legal Services Project - The Adoption Legal Services Project provides pro bono services to the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare Statewide Adoption Network (SWAN) for technical assistance to ease the burden on the child welfare system, its caseworkers and its lawyers, and on its waiting children.

JLC works for the reform and coordination of child welfare system, juvenile justice system and public health care systems in their delivery of services to children. Pennsylvania Child Welfare Training Program - The Pennsylvania Child Welfare Training Program is a collaborative effort of the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, University of Pittsburgh, School of Social Work, and the Pennsylvania Children and Youth Administrators established to train direct service workers, supervisors, administrators and foster parents in providing social services to abused and neglected children and their families. The Training Program is centrally managed by the University and regionaly administered through county - based regional training centers.
